1:1 Stone setting ring workshop

Discover the joy of making your own silver stone ring in a relaxed, one-to-one workshop nestled in the heart of the Cornish countryside. All classes take place in my cozy, fully equipped shepherd's hut at my home in Withiel, North Cornwall.

Stone-Setting Workshop

During this full-day workshop you’ll create a sterling silver ring with a bezel-set gemstone. You’ll explore a variety of traditional and contemporary jewellery-making techniques, including sawing, texturing, stamping, soldering, forming, stone setting, and polishing.

You’ll also have the option to choose the style of your ring band, including a variety of surface textures to personalize your design. From classic hammered finishes to my popular natural leaf print, the choice is yours to make your piece truly unique.

Beginners very welcome as well as those with prior experience in metalwork.

Cost ~
One-to-one: £175

There is the option to pay a 50% deposit upfront and the rest at least 1 week before your workshop booking. The deposit will be non refundable. in the case of you not being able to attend the arranged workshop date, this can be rearranged.

Materials ~
Everything you need to complete your stone set ring is provided, including sterling silver and a selection of gemstones to choose from. Refreshments are included, but please bring your own packed lunch.

Experience ~
Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to build on existing skills, I’ll guide you through each step of the process. Those with some metalwork experience are welcome to explore more advanced techniques.

Dates ~
